Welcome to Glada, a webshop that was born from the passion of two mothers: Nynke, who lives in Bali, and Carolien, who resides in the Netherlands. We met during a trip to Bali, and discovered a shared love for stylish and comfortable jewelry. We both have young children and understand better than anyone how important it is to find jewelry that is both beautiful and practical.
As mothers, we noticed a lack of jewelry that met our demands for comfort and lightweight. This inspired us to create a collection of our own. Our jewelry is crafted from premium cork and ceramic stones, both exceptionally lightweight and perfect for sensitive skin.
What sets us apart is our use of cork – a sustainable alternative to traditional materials. Cork comes from a tree that regenerates naturally without causing any harm to the environment.
